This is a Sarah's cheeky tribute to the British sculptor Antony Gormley's ground-breaking piece called 'Field' (1991) in which he created 35,000 small terracotta figures in a giant room, starring back at the viewer and for which he won the Turner Prize in 1994.
Sarah Jane Szikora has painted this piece using gingerbread men as the figures and it looks like they are an army, storming the museum!
Several other versions of 'Field' have been created since 1991, including: 'Field for the British Isles' (1993) made in St Helens, Liverpool and this one contained about 40,000 figures!
We have heard that this is the version Szikora based this fabulous new print on.
