A twin release with the aptly titled: 'Bohemian Rhapsody' limited edition.
An iconic graphite based drawing of Freddie Mercury complete with his iconic yellow jacket. His jacket is memorable for being worn at various concerts, including the ‘Live Aid’ charity concert (Wembley leg, 1985) & Queen 'Live At Wembley Stadium' (1986).
You can see Freddie is also depicted in his red striped white trousers, (although colour has not been added) and this victory pose has become legendary in Queen iconography, appearing in countless promotions, T-shirts, memorabilia & keep sakes.
This ‘victory’ pose can be interpreted in many ways: a statement that the artistic legacy of the band would endure for all time or perhaps, more his intention, that one’s personal freedom & intrinsic right to live free will ultimately triumph in the face of oppression.
As a final nod, Scott has named the artwork 'A Kind Of Magic,' of course in reverence to the song and album of the same name released in 1986, the unofficial soundtrack to the movie 'Highlander' (1986).
