Sherree's notable limited edition releases from 2019 where her Spring releases and Summer Collection of art, with the expected mix of elegantly dressed ladies at British social meets and children in various surroundings. The Spring releases where memorable for the best selling prints featuring children amongst flowers: 'Lost Amongst The Poppies,' 'Bluebell Haven' and 'Wildflower Meadow;' these really connected with people, capturing the very essence of childhood.
As the daughter of a sculptor and stonemason, perhaps it is no surprise that the artist chose an artistic path in life. Studying at the Epsom School of Art (now merged as the 'University for the Creative Arts') in Surrey, she honed her natural talents to ultimately become one of the UK’s most collectable contemporary artists and earning the title: 'the face of Modern British Impressionism.'

In fact, Daines's distinctive society scenes and timeless childhood imagery have attracted the attention of many celebrity collectors, including several members of the British Royal Family & Aristocracy.
As a painter, Sherree uses drawing as the foundation for her works and prefers to paint from real life, regularly using live models and over time that has included her own daughters, nieces and nephews.
Her landscapes and portraiture interpret the most elegant aspects of British Life e.g. the social Calendar such as Horse Racing at Ascot, portraits of elegantly clad women, nudes, musicians, ballet dancer and sporting pastimes such as English Rugby & Cricket. However, childhood imagery remains one of her favourite subjects.
She uses oil, watercolours and pastels on canvas to create works of all sizes, taking the most delight from conjuring up idyllic childhood settings. Sherree also works as a sculptor, carefully crafting each bronze piece in what she calls 'a labour of love.' The subjects include – of course – children, as well as the graceful, elegant female figures for which the artist is renowned, as well as horses and jockeys - bringing her figures from canvas to three-dimensional bronze life.
**Sherree Valentine Daines, paints an elephant 'live' for the the Born Free Foundation's: 'Beyond The Bars' campaign:
'As a Modern Impressionist and figurative artist, I am fascinated by the effect of colour and light on a subject rather than the subject itself,' says Sherree.
Her work has been displayed at an impressive list of establishments: The Laing Landscape Exhibition, the Tate Gallery (presumably the ‘Tate Britain’), the Barbican, as well as other prestigious venues such as: the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Lord's (Cricket) Museum & the Royal Society of British Artists to name only a few in the UK.
Of course, her work is held in many private houses around the globe and as a result, sales of her paper & canvas limited editions have led her to become one of the top five best selling (living) artists in the world. Her original paintings now sell for considerable sums of money, with value's rivalling that of contemporary fellow artist Kerry Darlington.
