Marner's playful and imaginative painting style stems from jotting down ideas as soon as they pop into his head, quickly placing them on available material, before later finalising with paints, the artwork on canvas.

Stefan's first step is colouring the canvas and then building an outline of his subject, in this case a busty female figure & Marner's approach to creating his artwork is therefore very methodical. A non-descriptive female 'Perfect Ten' figure is drawn and really pops out against the choice of colour used for the backdrop. A brilliant start to this series
