Celebration '77 by Steven Binks

Its sister edition to Steven's popular 'Celebration '66' limited edition print.

Due to overwhelming response to this print in Winter 2024, thanks to a Facebook group celebrating all things 1970s, Steven wants to print the last seven (nice touch!) copies as ‘on canvas’ limited editions. Thes high quality prints will be the best reproduction of the original painting possible using modern giclee on canvas printing!

This pays tribute to the 1970s and Queen Elizabeth's II's Silver Jubilee celebrating 25 years on the throne in 1977

Featuring an orange Ford Mark 2 escort, motorbikes, a Raleigh Chopper bike, British Bulldog & two punks in the background...amongst much, much more!

The bridge featured is actually Ballingdon railway bridge in Sudbury, Suffolk; the train is a Stratford class 47 Loco added, with the Queen's Silver Jubilee Union Jack markings.

For the last 7 remaining copies in this small edition run of 26, Steven will produce these as high quality 'giclee on canvas', which will be finished as either:

- Box Canvas or
- Framed Box Canvas

& either can be hung on your wall.

This best quality reproduction will look as close as possible to Steven's original painting of 'Celebration '77.'

He feels this is the best way to finish of the edition, in light of its popularity and surge of interest on Facebook in Winter 2024.

Steven's announces the 'canvas editions’ release for Winter 2024:

"The 'Celebration '77' canvas edition will be limited to just 7 of the edition - the last to be printed.

These last copies will be sold in this format ONLY - 30'' x 24'' box canvases (or framed box canvas) - the size I painted the original in 2017.

Each one will also be personally embellished with a few interesting small changes, compared with the original illustration!"
