Steven Townsend has released his latest limited edition dog print of a black labrador, new for May 2015, named after the dog in the artwork: 'Ronnie.'

This is his first new canine art since 'Ready To Start' in 2011 and a welcome return to the genre that made Steven a house hold name in the dog art world.

'Ronnie' is a black lab that has been out for a splash in the shallows and Steven has brilliantly captured the dog looking up at his master, near some rocks.

Really capturing the essence of the dog in his trademark photorealistic style, this is a classic 'Townsend' limited edition.

'Ronnie' represents Steven Townsend's welcome return to the world of published limited edition dog art, in his first release in 4 years.

Here we have his new release for May 2015. Although synonymous for his border collie art and to many Steven is the 'collie man.'

Ronnie represents the artist's continued fascination with the labrador retriever. We believe this is Townsend's 20th limited edition release featuring a labrador and I believe it one of his strongest ever images, do you agree?
