The Lads by Paul James

Immediately the title brings a smile to our face, with a graffiti backdrop and his subjects huddled together, we'd expect to see some sort of gang, in fact the characters of this piece feature a group of lovable ducks which claim to be hard as nails and form 'The Lads'.

The way in which the animals are painted are superb, their feathers light and fluffy, which are emphasised against the cluttered graffiti on the bricked wall. This is certainly a unique and charming piece and definitely made us chuckle!
