A rare and 'early' Todd White edition in a style that he was initially known for, as the bodies fade into various long lines, here of course a pleasing solid black colour.
Nine guests are in a row at a cocktail party (at ‘Nic’s!!!) and it's early in the evening, as some of the faces look reserved and unsure of their fellow party goers!
Dressed in tuxedos and black attire, Todd has painted them on a warm red background so your gaze is drawn to their hands, drinks and the plethora of humorous expressions.
This is such an early release, that the artist produced two sizes in this limited edition, the only difference being the canvas sizes of 20 x 20 and 30 x 30 inches, and respective edition sizes of 200 & 500.
With the framing, your finished framed sizes will of course be larger.
