The spiffing suits and zany caricatures remind us of the other all male limited edition: 'Colourful Keys', sans piano!

I wonder if Todd’s latest painting is the inspiration for the modern use of the term 'Suited And Booted'? as four rather dashing dandies pose for the camera before joining the party.

Not only are these gentlemen suited Todd has also given each stand out colourful lapels, two of them waist coats, and three have large collared shirts!

Take a look at their beautiful and patterned ties but wait! One of these chaps wants to stand out from the crowd and is wearing a spiffing 1970s bow tie, very butterfly in shape!

The ‘war paint’ on each of their faces gives us the reference to war in the title. I wonder if these chaps forgot their masks for the masquerade? it looks like some bizarre nod to William Golding's ‘Lord Of The Flies’ novel and I do hope you have seen the original 1963 film - it is the best!

I particular like Todd’s use of lighter blues in this limited edition, creating subtle highlights.
