Born in London in 1947, Tony was raised in a postwar society that the public perception of art was changing daily. Obviously talent even from an early age, Tony spent his free time drawing and painting imagination instead of life. He expected to assume some kind of artistic career so he embarked on a three-year entitled "Study Practices." Here he learned many things, not least to illustrate how in a wide range of styles, and he has made since then life working in an extraordinary variety of book illustrations and projects. While pursuing his personal agenda, that of becoming a professional "fine" artist painting for himself instead of the committees for the performance of others.
In 2005 work was spotted by Tony DeMontfort Art, the United Kingdom, the leading international art publisher, which immediately saw its potential to win over the art lovers of the nation. Tony of the fascinating personality and innate sense of fun in that shines through everything that means immediately wowed the team managers!
Now based in Norfolk, Tony has a studio in his home where he spends his time gathering inspiration from sources as diverse as soloist Fred Astaire dance, an elegant swing coat in a beautiful woman, and even the big philosophical questions que rondan All of us in modern life ...
