**Video of the artist's January 2020 UK Tour:
Yuvi’s artwork features a mixture of iconic figures from cartoon (Mickey Mouse), to Hollywood ikons (Marilyn Monroe) and from images of artists themselves (Dali). You must wonder how much Dali’s surrealist world has inspired the up and coming Yuvi?
His art is instantly recognisable, not least because of the Graffiti fonts, spray paints and paint that appears to be running down the canvas - it almost appears like you are looking at a very old wall, with years of built of graffiti on it.
The Israeli artist does like to explore social issues within his artwork and the messages are often deeply personal to him.
**Short Video collage of Yuvi, his work and in his studio:
Growing up in the melting pot that is Tel Aviv, Yuvi was surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city often seen as the 'other New York.' Artistry, social, political and religious ideas blended into the graffiti that was seen all around the city in his youth - it was very much an emerging, 'funky' city and like the young artist, is was affected by fashion and political trends.
Travelling extensively, it is no surprise to hear that the artist was inspired by American and European culture & design and the illusive Banksy was a huge inspiration for him.
Apart from Dali and Banksy, it is clear the iconic artist Andy Warhol was perhaps his biggest influence and you can only wonder and admire the fanatic canvases that Yuvi is able to create, almost bringing Warhol's themes into the 21st century.
